Too Awake

Hey guys. Well, it's a little past 6am while I am typing this and I am really not feeling tired. I wouldn't mind so much if I didn't have to work today. More, I wouldn't mind if I had morning or night shift today, but I have midshift, so if I don't nap till noon or something, I'll be really tired for work.

Well, this is my second post in a row this week, so here's hoping I can get the habit kicked in.

All that really got done yesterday was Shower and Clean Out E-mail. I did a decent chunk of Clean Room, enough to where I can try and work with my space so I'll leave what I have for now till tomorrow.

Despite my good attentions, I've learned something that will probably affect how I do things. If I don't get this stuff done before I pick my fiance up from his closing shift at 1am, I wont because I'll be playing multiplayer minecraft with him and his friends. A term I define loosely since currently I am working away from them so I can build my first base. I'm actually considering tearing down what I have done so far in favor of moving somewhere else so I can claim it as my land.

I also decided to change World of Warcraft leveling to NESTalgia leveling since that is currently a game I'd rather spend my time playing.

Well, I don't think I have much else to say, so I'll get my list started then post on my shop's blog.

New Job?

Hey guys. Yeah, I know, it's been a while. Wasn't I saying I was going to get back on track? Well, I think maybe the erratic sleep schedule combined with my natural procrastination habits of just playing minecraft or watching someone on Channel Awesome until it's time for bed. I'm hoping to still change my habits. Maybe if I am waking up for work, I need to make sure I have time and that I do post here. As it is, I should have done this before I dropped off my fiance at work and run a grocery errand.

I recently interviewed for the Barnes&Noble Cafe, here's hoping I get it. Even if it's not full time, maybe combining it with Dollar Tree I'll have enough to end up being full time. I find this funny because I recently interviewed for Starbucks and didn't get it. But here's hoping.

I got a lot I should do today, mostly to try and make things clean for doing other things. And most of it is my desk. I need room to write, I need room to use my desk calender, I need room in general. Here's hoping we're out of here soon and I can get a corner desk like I had back in Jersey so I can have a bit more room. I attempted to make more room but I just successfully made a spot for the printer and some craft stuff because it's too low to the ground.

I am going to also try and do my other blog about my shop before work form now on. Maybe I should try and make sure I wake up earlier because getting up an hour before I have to leave for work probably wont allow me enough time. And I don't think getting on a set schedule will work since I often have to pick Mikey up from work at 1am. And forbid we both have off because then I don't sleep. I think he wants to go to bed well before I do.

Well, I better get the list going so I can hop into the shower and get to work.

Returning

Hey guys. Once again, trying to get back on track. I've been trying to get myself to post for a few days now but I've either been working, running errands, or procrastinating by watching That Guy With The Glasses. (Which I can't wait till the 4th year anniversary comes out!) I am hoping that soon I'll be able to go to AnimeNext. Only my fiance doesn't want me to go and spend the money on going. Hopefully, I can find a way to convince him.

I recently had an interview with Starbucks for a full time job there. Hopefully they call me back for a second interview. It would be nice to get the hours I need and to cut an expense. :-P

Well, I don't really have any other news or anything to post, i just need to get back on track.

AVENGERS!!!

Hey guys. It's been a while, kind of been focused on either trying to move, getting as much done for my etsy shop as possible, or finding another job because Dollar Tree is really not working out. I decided to get back to this since it seems to work for me. So a couple of things that have been going on in my life first.

I'm in a really bad spot right now. The negative effects of living in a finished cellar without a kitchen of our own, without a bathroom down here, without much room for food so we can try and keep costs down, are all starting to creep up. I have no hours at Dollar Tree so I have no money. I've been trying to get my etsy shop somewhere and it's not really working. I'm still trying to figure it out cause everyone apparently likes my stuff but no one is buying it. So everything is kind of in a negative light right now.

I'm applying to a whole bunch of places, so hopefully my hours can actually support me. I'm currently working the NH Spring Auction at the NH Public Television station so at least I have something right now. And once that is done I'll start looking for more TV/Film positions. I managed to get a lot of products going and I will probably start blogging on my shop blog again soon. Though I'm going to need to start getting into the habit of waking up early and still be able to stay up late to pick up Mikey from work. Otherwise I wont have as much time as I would want.

I'm not going to do any of my cleaning phases till I move though. I need to reevaluate what I'm doing while I'm here cause it isn't like being in NJ where I only have to worry about my room. So incase you were wondering, pretty much nothing got done, I even lost the sheets I made for that.

I started looking into some film festivals and I'm currently putting things together to try and start a kickstarter project so I can start living my dream. Even if I don't enter many this year, you'll be sure I can do as many as possible other years. Most of the ones I am looking at don't have any premier requirements so I might put one film in 5 different festivals.

I'm going to be trying soon to post videos on Blip as soon as the concept I have starts materializing.

So I'm going to try and get back into the habit of blogging and trying to keep ontop of things. Cause when you have about 5 different things you want to do, you'll need to keep ontop of all of them.

Anyway...

What everyone has heard enough about already...

THE AVENGERS!!

YES!!!

Seriously, I can't being to say how hyped I was for that movie! And so is everyone else. And let me say, you probably heard it from other people before, but the hype is well worth it!

So, I'm going to try and keep this as spoiler free as possible because, seriously, go see it! Buy your ticket right now! So, in order to keep any spoilers from happening, I'll put them in a new paragraph and italicize them so you know when they're coming and can skip over it.

So, lets take a look at the characters. If you notice in the last picture I used Iron Man and The Hulk are technically on there twice, yeah there's a reason for that. If you liked Iron Man, there's gonna be a lot of him to go around. And he's as egotistical and sarcastic as you'd come to expect. He's not really anything new in the character development program, but he's not stilted either. He has a story arc that pays off in the end. But it's very clear that this movie loves it's Iron Man. (And for good reason being a top grossing film of all time.) And I really hope you like Bruce Banner (spell check?) because there's a lot of character to go around here. It's like what Iron Man is not, Bruce Banner is. He's given a lot more time to grow on you before he finally turns into the Hulk so you're not just sitting in your seat going, yeah yeah blah blah blah GIVE US HULK!!

I also hope you saw Captain America before this movie because although he's in a good chunk of the movie, and it's not necessary to get a sense of him, you might not get your fill. Not to say he's wasted either, he really is kind of the man who helps keeps things together in this movie. But you're better off seeing Thor before you see this because he needs a bigger part. (Or maybe this is me playing favorites) He does contributes, and he isn't wasted, but you're going to be wishing more out of him. Infact, I've been told there were 2 hours cut from the movie since this is already over 2 hours long, almost 2 and a half (which doesn't feel that way by the way, you'd say more like 100 minuet running time sitting and watching it. Is it just me or is he good at that?) so I have a feeling that's where a lot of his scenes went. Though the climax does help to make up for this since Thor has a lot he can do in a fight.

Hawk Eye, however, is pretty wasted. He's not in much of the film, and when he is, he's just his sniper archer self. I never really got to have a sense of him. Same can go for Black Widow, who got more in the development department but, I can not explain why, I was not that interested in learning about her. It could simply be like learning about Jean Gray in the X-Men, she's competing for screen time and audience time with major power house characters that I'd rather see them.

Nick Fury makes me wish I had read the comics. He's not wasted, but he doesn't actually do much but spout cool lines and get the team together and...get the team together. I would really like to know more about him but in the end, we were too focused on the super heroes that were actively fighting (oh, and I don't mean with the bad guys, but we'll get to that soon).

Now for a major problem I have with this movie. There's this agent, who I can not for the life of me remember his name who gets the axe. And they play this as being a really sad moment, but, I felt like we needed more time with him to truly see why they cared he died. Maybe it's in the 2 cut hours, but I felt like he was more a plot device then an actual character. Not that he didn't have personality or you can't see why they were friends with him. But you can't see why this is the motivation to fight the bad guys as a team either.

Loki, I really don't have anything to say that Matthew Buck aka Film Brain hasn't already, so, see his review. (Yeah I'm cheating, but I also have to leave for work soon.)

The aliens themselves. Honestly, I don't quite understand why they were interested in earth in the first place. We can tell Loki had a big part in it, but we can't tell what was so valuable about the earth to them to begin with. It seems like they were looking for slaves, but we're not entirely sure.

The plot is standard but still epic. I've heard people compare this movie to Michael Bay if he actually knew what the hell he was doing with Transformers. Which I can see, it was a very big epic climax with explosions and aliens and awesomeness!

But here's what shocked me and Mikey about the movie, it was funny as hell! Most of the funny lines coming from Iron Man/Tony Stark, but everyone else contributes to the humor as well. It doesn't take away from the action or the drama though. Infact, the very very last scene at the end, (y'know, after the credits like every other Marvel movie. And I mean the typed credits, not the CGI ones!) is a very funny scene. No line of dialogue, just, everyone in this very humorous set up. If you want some last minuet worth your money moment (since mvoies are so expensive now a days) it's worth your time to sit and wait for it.

In short, The Avengers was awesome, we need a director's cut, and SEE IT NOW!!

So, that's it for now, I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but I got to get moving and get stuff done.

One Week Later

Hey guys. Yeah, it has been a while. One week. I'm still trying to get myself back into my groove. But at the very least, I'm blogging again today and last night I determined how much I should be trying to make per day to list on my Etsy shop.

I also got a desk over the weekend from Good Will. Have I mentioned lately how much I love Good Will? Two desk pieces, with the half of weekly sale, with the discount card, a whopping $18. And now I can enjoy my space a little more. And last week, I got a basket just to hold my current craft projects.

Currently, the desk still needs some assembling because we had to remove the top so it would fit in the car.

Now suddenly I'm wondering what it means to be twice or thrice removed. It's something I only heard in movies and I have a feeling it's very outdated, but what does it mean? Did they divorce and remarry, twice? Were they excommunicated from the rest of the family for a while? What? Anyone got an answer?

Post-Hiatus

Hey guys. I've had a bit of a Hiatus since moving. I've been working hard when I got the job, it's starting to slow down with the post-Christmas season. But I have been able to pick up lately. I even managed to clean out my car and purse yesterday and clear off my desk to make it workable. I even made the brand spanking from moving new Winter Cleaning List. New Hampshire

Hey guys. I have been in New Hampshire for a few days now. I'm really happy with the progress I've made so far in job hunting here. I got an interview in 4 hours too. :)

Though since I'm still adjusting, and since I don't see myself being able to do much, I'll need to adjust my lists. I'll also need to put the stuff for my diet on hold here.

I am really happy here. And hopefully it wont take very long to move somewhere that isn't someone's basement.

Post-Halloween

Hey guys. Well, I had fun on Halloween. And spent yesterday watching movies with my friend and frantically panicking about moving. What's annoying is that I hurt my foot yesterday so I will be cleaning and packing with a limp. Hopefully it'll be completely healed by tomorrow. In the mean time, I really need to get back on track.

Halloween 3 Days Away!

Hey guys. Well I haven't been posting lately due to me trying to push Etsy listings. And while I have failed in my mission to reach $150 by 5pm Saturday, I did succeed in at least listing some things and over $20 worth of things. I suppose that is a start. Though now that Halloween is 3 days away, I really got to kick start on my Halloween costume that I had barely started on. That and I got to clean for my sister's Halloween party. And I got to pack now that I have put together the boxes I got from Shoprite.

Late To Bed, Early To Rise

Hey guys. Well, pretty much nothing got done. With the exception of maybe Money Making. I didn't get to do much. I started making things to sell on my Etsy's shop and since I decided to make my goal to have $150 worth of listings by 5pm Saturday, I spent many hours trying to get as much done as possible before I near passed out around 4:15am. Then I had to get up at 6:45 to arrive, late, at Shoprite to get some boxes. Luckily I found one of the night crew who still had a pile of boxes and managed to salvage quite a number of boxes from him. I don't know if these boxes wont be enough to pack everything, so I wont check off Moving Phase 1, but if nothing else I can get the other phases done.

6 Days To Halloween!

Hey guys. Well, yesterday was lost. It was almost all errands yesterday. And a good chunk of it dealing with errands to work on my Halloween costume, which I have barely gotten started on putting together. Which if you haven't figured out what I am going as yet, I'll give you another hint. My enemy's: The filthy stinking humans! The beeeeeeees! The planet jackers. Those "babies".

Hey guys. Well, last night was a better day. What got done: Cafepress Shop (at this point I want to get into the habit of doing it, after all, what little I did took a while), Europe DVD, Clean Out Purse, Clean Bathroom, and Clean Hallway.

I am going to be busy. Not only am I going to have to change this post to adjust for chores. But I got errands to run, including going to the thrift store. So I am not looking forward to being so busy. But at least maybe I'll have some form of progress.

Broken Spacebar

Hey guys. Well, I have to post on my laptop because my computer's keyboard's space bar decided to become very stiff. So creating a post would take at least twice as long if not much much more.

Created by MyFitnessPal - Free Calorie Counter

But I realized today that I have been extremely lazy lately. And I need to at least clean out my car today, darkness or no darkness, and it's already getting dark. And I really need to start getting income coming in.

I also changed my Halloween Costume, so hopefully I can find the last few pieces I'd need to throw my costume together quickly. I'm going to be going to the Thrift Store soon to try and find it. If you're wondering what I am being, I'll give you a hint: "You dare question ___?! All shall fear the wrath of ___!! You shall perish under my wrath!!"

I don't think I have much left to say, so I'll just try and get to work.

Salvaging Time

Hey guys. Well, yesterday could have gone a lot better with Step Aerobics, Clean Room, and Go To Store getting done.

I am trying to salvage some time I'm losing since a certain someone confused a group meeting with a school club meeting. When will that someone get it through their head that I don't go to this school anymore and have no interest in joining a club runned by said school?

Created by MyFitnessPal - Free Calorie Counter

I haven't gotten a chance to weigh myself yet, but I did 40 minuets of step aerobics to burn off the calories I was over, so hopefully it at least helps with last weekend.

Well, I got quite a bit to do today, and only so many conscious hours of the day.
